CHURCH STREET WORSHIP
a music collective from @rufnorthwestern’s worship team.
BEHIND THE NAME
Running through the heart of downtown Evanston lies a modest road that hundreds walk along daily. Though few may pause to look up at a nearby sign, the name of this road goes oft-unnoticed: Church Street. Those who take interest and choose to walk a couple of blocks down its path will find themselves standing in front of a gorgeous old church.
In many ways, this picture is the aim of RUF’s ministry here at Northwestern. We want to be the unassuming street in the heart of our campus that gently offers a guiding path to Jesus. Many of us have walked down this street – both literal and metaphorical – and have seen the beauty of Christ and His people at the end. We want to invite others to walk that street with us and discover the community, joy, unity, and fullness that only comes through Christ.
